In this episode, I chat with Mark Powell the author of 'Deco for Divers' and 'Technical Diving - An Introduction', Technical Diving Instructor and avid wreck diver.

Over a brew, Mark talks about his motivation for writing some of the most popular reference books for scuba divers, why he be believes all divers can develop good buoyancy control and his love of wreck diving.

Very well known in the technical diving community, Mark generously gives his time representing TDI on the British Diving Safety Group and the HSE Recreational Diving Industry Committee as well as being a member of the Diver Training and Breathing Apparatus committees at the British Standards Institute.

If you want to hear all the details, grab yourself a brew and listen to his insightful and exciting story.

✅ “Fancy a brew?” a Scuba Diving inspired chat over a brew about life, adventure, mental and physical resilience and determination to succeed in the sport we love.

✅ The podcast where I’ll be talking to those who influenced me as a diver, about their incredible experiences and how they found mental and physical resilience, whilst devoting their lives to Scuba Diving. These will (hopefully) be insightful and exciting discussions about people taking on scuba diving and its challenges, and how they came out the other side stronger through finding inspiration in connecting with nature’s underwater world.
